Our kennel was built more than 30 years ago to offer pet owners in the Edmonton, St. Albert, Spruce Grove and Stony Plain area a safe and loving environment for their pets when they had to be away.

DOG BOARDING
We provide these essential services to all dogs housed in our kennels:
- Administration of special diets and oral medications (provided by owners)
- Piped-in music
- Pedigree dry dog food
Small Dogs:
- Unique and exclusive private quarters for small dogs
- Exercised 3 times a day in large individual yards
Large Dogs:
- Heated private indoor bedroom with adjoining covered private outdoor runs for larger dogs
- Exercised daily in large individual yards
Giant Breeds:
- Special larger accommodation for giant breeds with heated private indoor bedroom and adjoining covered private outdoor runs
- Exercised daily in large individual yards
For the safety and health of your dog, we do not exercise groups of dogs together in one common yard. We have 20 individual, residential-size yards on the property and each dog has his or her own yard. If you are a multiple-dog owner, your dogs can be exercised together.
Dog and cat owners are required to provide up-to-date vaccination records. Dogs are required to have current Rabies, DA2PP (annual combo vaccine covering Distemper, Parvo etc.) and we recommend Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccines. Cats are required to have current Rabies, FVRCP (annual combo vaccine Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus & Panleukopenia) and Feline Leukemia vaccines.
AVAILABLE SERVICES
These services are provided at an extra charge beyond our normal boarding rate:
- Extra exercise times
- Half-hour obedience session (only available for minimum 2 week stays or students enrolled in classes past & present)
- Half-hour walk/playtime with a human playmate (ball, frisbee, rope toy, KONG toy)
- Grooming (nail clipping, deshedding, bathing, clipping)
Doggy day stay is also available; please call for information.

**All dogs who are here for 1 month boarding receive 1 playtime a week and a simple bath and nail trimming at no extra charge.
MEDICATION
Normal/simple administration of oral medication remains included in the daily boarding costs. However, for unusual medical attention, there will be an additional charge of $5.00 per day per dog. This is for dogs requiring pills more than two times per day, dressing changes, etc. We do not administer injectable medications.
ABOUT TARA
Our kennel manager, Tara, has been with Parkland Kennels for over 20 years. She manages the daily routine of the staff and cares for the cats and dogs. Tara successfully competes in obedience trials as well as enjoying family time with her cats and dogs.
She has been serving as the fulltime groomer for cats and dogs for the last 16 years. Her grooming technique is to be calm and gently for even our most worried clients. You can travel with confidence knowing your K-9 or feline are getting the best care anywhere.
